Keys to Happy Healthy Hormones, Part 7

Keys to Happy Healthy Hormones, Part 7

Today's post is Part 7 in the Keys to Happy Healthy Hormones Series.

This week we cover 2 more important things to start incorporating into your life to help balance your hormones and restore health to your body.

13. Prioritize Stress Management

Stress is one of the biggest problem makers. Stress can interfere with the communication between our brain and our reproductive system resulting in poor ovulatory function and decreased hormone production.

Find ways to manage your stress daily whether that be through meditation, exercise, journaling or simply taking out time just for yourself each day.

Adaptogenic herbs can also help support a healthy stress response. These include: Ashwagandha, Gingko biloba, and Gotu Kola. These should only be taken under the supervision of a qualified Herbalist.

14. Avoid Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDC's)

Certain chemicals found in common beauty & household products can interfere with our natural hormone balance. Many mimic estrogen and can contribute to estrogen-dominance. Opt for natural or homemade products that are free of parabens, phthalates, preservatives & other toxic chemicals.

And the worst EDC of all is birth control. Take control of your reproductive health by finding natural ways to manage your fertility.

How are you doing on these 2 things? Are you doing pretty good or feel you could do better?

If you need help incorporating them into your life, I would love to help you on the path.
